Masonry Preservation: Brick

Every year, in the Madison & Jackson area our clay soil causes foundations to shift allowing cracks to develop in bricks. Water soon penetrates the brick surface, and structural damage begins to take place. Whether a building has been damaged by nature, faulty construction, or man-made stress, KMC will find a solution to the underlying causes of the problem and then return the structure as close to its former pristine appearance and functionality as possible.

Cracks & Structural Damage

Brick construction is extremely strong but is also susceptible to cracking and resultant damage due to many outside forces. Cracks can detract from a building’s overall appearance and value while allowing water to penetrate walls and cause structural weakness while damaging interior surfaces. BPM's specialization is in returning all types of brick structures to as close to their original condition as  possible.
